Another great day of doing the Lord's work on each of our work sites. For breakfast we had eggs, tater tots, & sausage (along with cereal). For dinner it was taco night, which was really yummy!!!

Tonight's group gathering, & our team's devotion time was just amazing! God is working in each of us in such different & amazing ways! Our verse for the week is Revelation 21:5 "I am making all things new". Amy was part of the drama presentation tonight & did great! They used various people from the Bible to sum up who Jesus is in one word, then we talked about perspectives...and how it takes longer than 3 seconds to really know someone and be able to say who they are.

We talked about who Jesus is, who He is to us, and how He makes us new! Many people stood up and described who Jesus is with one word...but we talked in our group about how it's harder to describe ourselves than Jesus because He makes himself know to us, but we don't know ourselves like He knows us (so its hard to describe yourself!). We talked about how our priority in our life should be to have an authentic relationship with God! We also took time to pair up and pray for a friend on our team...it was awesome!

There were also auditions for the variety show (which is happening tomorrow) and Amy & Breanna are both going to be in it! :)

Tomorrow is a half day of work & then we are off to Seabreeze amusement & water park!

Official Day One!

We had a busy day, but it was great! We started off with breakfast & worship with our new friends at Trinity Lutheran Church in Utica! Then we made the trip to Rochester!

We arrived at the Ninth Grade Academy safely, met our other adult Josh (Alison's younger brother),took a group photo and unpacked all the luggage & tools (which had to unpack & repack last night too...we are pros now)! Once unpacked we had our first program with everyone, we sang songs, played some games & of course met lots of new people!

We had a short break (while the adults had a meeting), then enjoyed hamburgers, hot dogs, salad & French fries for dinner...yum! Then we had some more free time to mingle & had another meeting at 7, which is where we met our work crews for the week!

It's been a busy day so it's time for bed! Please keep us all in prayer as we head out on our first day of work tomorrow morning! We'll post more details about crews & work tomorrow! :) Good Night!!! :)
